Hello! Thank you for being here
Today I had a day of travels with Pepper. Something incredible happened: every person I shared an interaction with — my roommates, the people who checked me into my flights, the baristas who made me coffee, the flight attendants, the other passengers on the planes, the driver of the hotel shuttle, the person working at the front desk at the hotel… — everyone — was very, very kind to me. Giving smiles, asking how Pepper and I were doing, helping me with my bags – everyone I met today went out of their way to give kindness to us; Each caring word, kind smile, and thoughtful gesture built and refreshed my heart. My mood shifted this morning and continues to be in a bright place due to the kindness of strangers (and roommates!).
Today taught me of the importance of being kind as much as one can — and what a huge difference that can make in one’s day/life. (My lesson: I need to be as kind as possible as often as possible.)
Today reminds me of how grateful I am for this community. Thanks to each of you, Stay Here with Me is a space and community that is kind, caring, shame-free, encouraging, honest, humorous, and supportive of one another. You all are dreams that came true. (<— Sounds so corny but I stand behind it.) THANK YOU FOR YOU.
Happy smile, happy slumber.
We are very, very, very glad that you’re alive. We are so happy you’re here. Thank you for living and for all that you share with and give to this community. Stay Here with Me would not exist without you, and you are the reason it exists. Please stay here with us.
What is one piece of art that has brightened your life this week?

Hello! Quick question that’s totally off topic. Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly? My site looks weird when viewing from my iphone. I’m trying to find a theme or plugin that might be able to correct this issue. If you have any recommendations, please share. Appreciate it!

Aw, this was a very nice post. Finding the time and actual effort to create a good article… but what can I say… I put things off a lot and don’t seem to get anything done.

Great information. Lucky me I found your website by accident (stumbleupon). I’ve book marked it for later!
Nice post. I learn something new and challenging on blogs I stumbleupon every day. It will always be helpful to read through articles from other authors and use something from their websites.
It’s difficult to find educated people about this topic, but you sound like you know what you’re talking about!
Howdy! This post could not be written any better! Going through this post reminds me of my previous roommate! He constantly kept preaching about this. I’ll send this post to him. Pretty sure he will have a great read. Many thanks for sharing!

This is the right blog for anyone who really wants to find out about this topic. You realize a whole lot its almost tough to argue with you (not that I actually would want to…HaHa). You definitely put a new spin on a topic which has been written about for many years. Great stuff, just wonderful

AYSHFIRandom Act of Kindness BETTER WORLD COMMUNITY HELPFUL KINDNESS MARKETING RANDOM
Let’s all practice Random Act of Kindness as of this year, as of today. It’s a great way to help heal humanity. We should really start doing it ourselves as part of our daily life and not rely on others anymore to make the world a better place.Random acts of kindness are a means by which we make a deliberate attempt to brighten or help another person or stranger’s day by doing something thoughtful, caring and concerned for them… Those selfless Random acts of kindness are a wonderful way to reach across time and space to touch the life of another being. The power behind such act is extremely impactful and contagious.
It’s something you could do for a complete stranger, but you could also extend it to your family, friends, lover, colleague, community. Integrating it during your stressful daily life is the big ideal, but again you don’t have to really force it: you could simply be kind, be thoughtful, give compliments generously, say thank you for someone who quietly makes a difference in your community, cheer up the lonely, volunteer, share a little of your wealth around, send nice messages or poems, forgive somebody, share a smile and ideally expect nothing.
Some people write a long list of random acts of kindness that you can do, but I will not to do that, because this act must be really personalized to that specific person!
I always see this great old woman living next door, who feeds strayed cats everyday, this is also described as Random act of Kindness: those cats are not hers; they’re just hungry cats thrown in the street struggling everyday to find food.
Also I will never forget the story of this girl I barely knew, who decided to help me with sincere and big dedication on a personal project that demanded so much time, effort and concentration, and I probably dedicate this article to her as a way to say thank you properly!
So Evelyne Karam, a big THANK YOU for what you did to me, I really would have messed it all up without you! I kept on asking myself why you were helping, how come someone is doing something so kind and wanting nothing in return, and the only answer was that you were the kind of people who practiced Random Act of Kindness by nature.
You were here and helped me from scratch till the end to successfully reach one of the biggest steps and dreams in my life! Really thank you
It’s time we all become more aware about our personal social responsibility. By spreading this message and by doing kind acts for others, you’re helping to create kindness-aware communities that value generosity and kindness toward others as essential parts of a healthy community.
I’m sure you’ve all seen this amazing movie called Pay it Forward
This movie is a perfect illustration of Random Act of Kindness that went really viral and touched a whole community. The story is that when someone does something kind to you, you should do the same to 3 other people, who also pay it forward to three others themselves…. and hence you create a kindness-aware community.
Funny enough, as a new 2011 trend, even big companies are integrating Random Act of Kindness as part of their marketing/ advertising strategies by doing something so random yet so personalized and thoughtful to engage with their customer, strengthen loyalty and generate positive word of mouth! Ok maybe this is not selfless, but still it does good to us and it works:
There was this airline company who decided to reward their customers through Random Act of Kindness, so they decided to look up for the names of all the people travelling with them on a specific date using social media websites to get a glimpse of who they are, what are their passion, interest, likes etc… and bought them accordingly a small random gift. Finally when these customers got to the airport, they each found someone waiting for them with their name written on a sign…they got really intrigued at first, only to soon find out that the airline company they usually travel with is offering them a small yet a personalized gift that really touched them! The airline was indirectly saying: I know you, I recognize you and I want to do something nice to you as a thank you!
For example, because Aya Hibri blogged or tweeted that she is leaving Lebanon to pursue her Master’s degree, the airline thought to buy her a small yet cute gift such as a laptop as a kind gesture
What Do You Plan to Do To Celebrate Random Acts of Kindness
“The world could be a much better place through your kindness. All because of that single act of kindness by a stranger.”
“Appreciation can make a day – even change a life. Your willingness to put it into words is all that is necessary.” Margaret Cousins
“Never get tired of doing little things for others. Sometimes, those little things occupy the biggest part of their hearts.”
“Isn’t it amazing how often we can touch someone’s life, and enrich our own, by a very simple act? Kindness, pass it on…what a wonderful way to pattern our lives!” Betty, Community Organizer, WA
“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” Leo Buscaglia

Hahahaha! It’s not a random act of kindness if you expect a laptop in return!
On the other hand, I’m up to a free hugs day next week-end, wanna start this with me in Hamra?
