They should be running around excitedly chasing after balls on warm summer nights; sticking their heads out of car windows to feel the wind and smell the scents around them; waiting expectantly at front doors for their families to come home so they can greet them with big slobbery kisses; and curling up at night with people who love them in warm, safe places.

But for these dogs, life is nothing like that.

Instead, they spend their short, miserable lives confined in cramped, filthy cages, where they know only fear and cruelty from the people around them. Malnourished, sick, and helpless, they sit day after day, week after week, bored, lonely, and traumatized. Eventually they are dragged roughly out of their cages, stuffed into trucks, and horrifically slaughtered for meat.

This is the reality of the dog meat trade in South Korea, where every year millions of dogs live and die in shocking, appalling ways.

http://www.thepetitionsite.com/215/241/999/dont-legalize-dog-meat-in-korea/

The Korean Dog Meat Association has estimated six million dogs are being bred for human consumption in South Korea. Breeding dogs for meat and selling dog meat have been illegal since 1984, but the government has been lax on enforcing laws regarding dog meat production. In September 2012, the Korean Dog Meat Association aggressively protested for the government to officially legalize dog farms and dog meat. Numerous studies have shown that dogs are socially more like humans than any other animal, including chimpanzees, and the natural bond between dogs and their owners cannot be denied. Unfortunately, dogs bred for human consumption in Korea are subjected to cruelty that is unacceptable for any animal. Dogs are tightly packed in small cages where their bodies press against each other. Slaughterhouses typically kill the dogs through electrocution, but markets club the animal before boiling it while it is sometimes still alive. The traditional method is to hang dogs by the neck before beating them, as this practices release stress hormones that are thought to improve the meat's flavor and make it healthier.

Legalizing dog meat and dog farming will encourage the further mistreatment of these wonderful animals. Please sign the petition to keep dog meat illegal in Korea!

Please educate China and Korea - stop torturing and eating dogs

Thanks to the advancement of the internet, digital technology and social networking sites, the Western World is waking up to the true horror and scale of dog torture in South East Asia. Countless videos and images show dogs in South Korea and China (and other Asian countries) being hung, beaten, skinned alive, boiled alive and blow torched alive, just so people can eat them. This is a disgrace! The practice of torturing dogs to make the meat taste better, comes from 2,000 years ago. Back then, poverty, old resentments, and religious beliefs ruled the day, in a culture based on fear, hatred and abuse. Who ever started this was full of hate. It is a travisty for the animals that have had to suffer for 2,000 years because of this, at the hands of some humans, who believe that the dog was a bad person in a previous life and deserved to be tortured and boiled alive. Henious. Something has gone very wrong in humanity. This treatment of dogs is inhumane and does not belong in the mod

This ancient culture of abuse cannot continue. No doubt the consumers of these elixiers can choose to be part of modern society when they want, with Iphone, technology, cancer treatments, from the West. Yet they are not taught of the disgrace of their arcane beliefs.

This culture of abuse has no place in the modern world. United Nations, Education Science and Culture? Surely education and science tells us that a culture of abuse is wrong.

We are asking you to eduate the Chinese and South Korean Governments (and the other countires) that torturing dogs and eating the meat should be eradicated.

We ask if you can work with them to educate the indignant consumers, that they are not gaining any great elixir, by eating tortured dogs. In fact, all they are doing is perpetuating an unacceptable amount of unnecessary suffering into the universe. Also the farmers who beat these dogs and boil them alive, also need education, that this is no way to treat any creature.

No animal deserves to suffer at the hands of humans in this way. This is a shame of humanity.

South Koreans Eat Their "Natural Monument No.53" Jindo Dogs-End the Meaningless Jindo Registration!

South Korean President Geun-Hye Park

Jindo Dogs are South Korea's national dogs and they are officially designated as South Korea's "Natural Monument No. 53". This though is a meaningless travesty! The Jindo Dog promotion project launched by government only serves to drive numerous Jindo dogs into the horrendous dog meat industry. According to the investigation by an animal welfare organization in South Korea (http://koreandogs.org/?p=4519), dogs that do not meet the breed standards set by the government, conducted biannually at Jindo county(the supposed Jindo dog protection area) are being sold to dog meat traders! The national monument ends up as dog meat soup. In the summer when the dog meat consumption reaches its peak, dog traders can drive by these villages as often as every 3-4 days collecting unwanted and rejected Jindo dogs. Their investigation reveals that the screening process for Jindo dogs is vague and subjective making the screening meaningless. The Kennel Clubs of the world stand by and allow this to continue. In a society where 2 million dogs are being eaten each year, this type of promotion only serves to line the pockets of certain people and drive the so called "ugly" Jindo dogs into dog meat markets. Most of all, their taxpayer's money is being spent in this process.

This is a shame and disgrace of South Korea. We ask the new president of South Korea, Honorable Geun-Hye Park, to put an end to this Jindo Dog registration program immediately and end the dog meat trade in South Korea once and for all. This will be the only way to restore the tarnished image of South Korea as an inhumane and cruel nation of animal abusers.

Say No to S. Korean Dog Meat Trade-Boycott 2016 Meeting of ISH in Seoul, S. Korea

To: ISH and South Korean Government
Watch these videos from the despicable South Korean dog meat trade: http://youtu.be/ldblUoQ2tvo http://youtu.be/aiWE4brZWe0

Dear prospective attendees of the 26th 2016 Scientific Meeting of International Society of Hypertension in Seoul, South Korea:

I urge you today to please boycott the 26th 2016 Scientific Meeting of International Society of Hypertension in Seoul, South Korea and stand against the appalling and despicable cruelty committed against the millions of innocent dogs in South Korea every year.

Harriet Beecher Stowe said, "It's a matter of taking the side of the weak against the strong, something the best people have always done."

In South Korea, 2 million dogs are tortured and eaten every year. Even though the country has established an Animal Protection Law for companion animals, dogs are still beaten, hanged, electrocuted and treated abominably by farmers and slaughters. And dogs and cats are still being beaten and boiled alive for so-called elixirs, which do not have medical properties except in the minds of naive customers.

These sickening practices have no place in the modern world. Other countries in Asia have banned the eating of dog meat and the cruel industry that goes with it many years ago: Taiwan in 2001, Hong Kong in 1950, Philippines in 1998, Thailand in 2000,... Why does South Korea lag behind these countries and other civilized societies?

It's the responsibility of the South Korean government to once and for all end the cruel dog and cat meat industries. Now is the time to cast off the absurd myths and propaganda surrounding these industries and their vile products. Now is the time to leave behind backward and unnecessary traditions.

And now is the time for South Korea to start taking animal protection seriously and show that it really does have a compassionate and ethical society. That means it is time for the South Korean government to better educate the public about the importance of spaying and neutering, about not abandoning animal companions, and about treating animals respectfully.

Until these things are done, South Korea's reputation in the international community will continue to suffer, despite its dazzling modernization and global thinking. Its citizens will continue to face shame and embarrassment.

There is no appropriate animal-protection legislation to prevent the animal cruelty currently taking place in South Korea. As someone who believes strongly that animals should not be treated in this way, I urge the South Korean Government to strengthen the Animal Protection Law to prevent animal cruelty and to introduce basic animal-protection regulations. It must also provide penalties for violations and ensure that mistreated animals can be legally seized from abusers and given immediate refuge. I request that the South Korean Government create an enforceable law to ban the torture, killing, sale, and consumption of dogs and cats.

Dear prospective attendees of the 26th 2016 Scientific Meeting of International Society of Hypertension in Seoul, South Korea,
You have the power to make a difference for these poor animals who are forced to endure the most agonizing and unimaginable suffering. Would you please stand by these animals today and be their voice?

Sincerely,

South Korea's dog meat industry where all kinds of dogs are tortured and eaten: http://youtu.be/_JPYK3yTqWY (Part 1 of 2)

http://youtu.be/hXe3GV0GOB4 (Part 2 of 2)

The $2 billion dollar-a-year South Korean dog and cat meat industry, which extinguishes the lives of approximately two and a half million dogs a year for meat or gaesoju, a dog wine or broth, and thousands of despised and doomed cats for so-called "health" tonics or goyangyeesoju, and soup, operates in a sordid and illicit world where farmers and butchers kill with frightening impunity in the most abominable fashion. Dogs are killed with high-voltage electronic rods (220 volt electrocution to the mouth which does not kill immediately), hanging, or even beating the dog to death at the request of customers who believe that the meat is more tender and tastier the greater the dog suffers (one of the most pernicious of myths) and that the medicinal properties are enhanced. They are most often killed within sight of their cage mates. They are then thrown into a tub of boiling water, often still alive, and then into a rotating drum for the removal of their fur, and finally blow torched. At Moran Market, South Korea's largest open air-market for dog meat, dog carcasses are on display next to the cages of live dogs. If sales are slow, dogs will remain caged for days or even weeks.

Cats are thrown into boiling water while alive. At the farms, dogs are fed germ-infested, rotting, and fermented human leftovers, a health risk to both the dogs and those who eat them. In South Korea, dogs and cats' lives are short and ferociously heartless until they tremble no more at the hands of their slaughterers as cage mates look on.

In S. Korea, farmed dogs live for less than a year, often raised in 'over the ground' cages. Although these cages are designed so waste can drain away, in reality they are rarely cleaned, resulting in a filthy build-up.

The dogs are usually fed on scraps from neighboring restaurants or – as a WSPA-funded report discovered – even on other dogs, risking the spread of disease. Fighting over the meager food supply causes aggression and injury. The future holds nothing but hours or even days crammed in a small wire transport cage with up to 12 other dogs, heading to market.

The South Korean dog and cat meat industry, with its deliberate and indefensible cruelty, is about the implacability of profit and the South Korean government's granitic indifference to the pervasive rot and stink of human injustice. Dogs are not officially recognized as livestock for slaughter and processing, meaning their meat cannot legally be sold. But enforcement is weak and many dog meat restaurants remain open. But a conflagration is brewing across South Korea and the world that inspires an almost messianic commitment among animal advocates to pursue a ban on dog and cat meat.

A country possessed of an intricate culture soaked with politics and tradition, it recoils when the subject of dog and cat eating arises, experiencing a soul's unease with the very subject. South Korea is at once the most proud and ashamed, a country in which a sense of a rising global status alongside the ignominy of such cruel practices are indissolubly fused, and whose contradictions and dualities reflect the most exigent of its desires: to be accepted into the world community as an equal and to be without shame about its sordid, corrupt, and technically illegal dog and cat meat industry.

One of the most effective ways to pressure their government is to impact their economy. That means we must boycott all South Korean products, tourism and international events such as this meeting being held in South Korea. Please sign this petition to show your support for the campaign against this horrific industry and help to end this once and for all.

"Our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter." ~Martin Luther King, Jr.

UN Secretary - General Ban Ki Moon states "We must not fail the billions who look to the international community to fulful the promise of the Millenium Declaration for a better world."

A better world? - so stop Chinese and Korean deliberate torture for Dog Torture Soup! Torture for satisfaction, food and money. All on the black market. That is very very very bad.

The Koreans love Dog Torture Soup. Dog torture soup does not belong in Millenium. Dog torture soup was developed 2,000 years ago by a sick society based in fear, bitterness, anger and resentment. The old resentment is so ingrained now, and projected onto the dogs. We have all seen the photos of dogs boiling alive.

Dogs and cats DO NOT DESERVE this henious crime of such painful death. I have burnt myself with boiling water and it REALLY HURTS. Imgaine being being boiled alive!!

I have spoke to young Koreans who say, that "yes, the dogs should be killed with EXTRA PAIN because it makes the meat taste better." These people need education. There is a sickness, in your society. Until you fix it, you will fail in UN Millenium goals of real education.

Please work with UNESCO to educate young Koreans and young Chinese, that torturing animals for good tasting and tender flesh, is barbaric and does not belong in Millenium Development goals, of an educated society.

These people are still blaming dogs, projecting their hate and anger, onto dogs, that was decided 2,000 years ago when someone said dogs were sinners and deserved to be punished. Get real. Please.

Koreans and Chinese are still boiling alive 20 million cats and dogs a year. If we are are in United Nations UNESCO Education, Science, Culture – then, education and science, will tell you that animals feel pain like we feel, therefore the culture of torture, is wrong.

Or, will you keep Torture LEGAL? Under the "Culture" Banner of UNESCO? (culture=torture=culture=torture) (e.g. Bullfighting legal culture) (e.g. culture boiling dogs (legal torture/culture) For the next 2,000 years?

Another BILLION DOGS. BOILED ALIVE. (cats, pigs, chickens too)

Hundreds of thousands of people around the world are horrified at the boiling alive culture of China and Korea.

Yet you have not even considered humane welfare and slaughter, for animals of trade, as part of Millenium Education. Well, torture does not belong in an educated society.

UNESCO needs to do the right thing and start to educate the people, that the culture of torture does not belong in the New Millenium. less

It’s a fact…anyone who's capable of killing a dog (man's best friend) is a brutal, sinister, lowlife and anyone who allows or condones this practice falls into the same category! The abuse, murdering, and slaughtering of innocent dogs in your country for meat or otherwise must be stopped and those who commit such a tragic act must be stringently punished!!! The world has no tolerance for these villainous individuals and they must be taught a lesson! A South Korean Law Enforcement Task Force must be put into place & put out on the streets to put an end the barbaric and illegal dog meat trade!!!

I cannot in any circumstance understand why Koreans eat Cat and Dog, these animals are family, would you eat your child? A dog or Cat are an animals which loves human company and loves you forever. How torturing an animals , can make a man more virile, is pathetic, they need to be educated and needs to stop. I will never buy anything from Korea, or visit till this is stopped, I will also spread the word and encourage everyone I know to do the same.

Boycott PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea, A Dog Eating Nation

I am extremely distressed about the torture and consumption of animal companions in South Korea. Even though the government has established an Animal Protection Law, dogs are still electrocuted, hanged, and beaten to death by farmers and slaughters. Also, dogs and cats are still being tortured and boiled alive for so-called elixirs, which have no medicinal properties except in the minds of gullible customers. Until South Korea ends this appalling suffering, the country’s reputation in the international community will continue to suffer. Its citizens will face shame and embarrassment. And South Korea will continue to be regarded as “third world,” despite its glittering modernization and attempts at globalized thinking. There will be worldwide attempts to boycott “PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics unless the abuse of cats and dogs has finally come to an end.

Don’t Legalize Dog Meat and Dog Farms in Korea
BY ANGELA LEE
Target: President Lee Myung-bak of the Republic of Korea
Goal: Ensure that dog meat and dog farms remain illegal in South Korea.
The Korean Dog Meat Association has estimated a staggering 20 thousand dog farms and 6 million dogs being bred for human consumption in South Korea alone. Though in 1984, the South Korean government mandated a law classifying dog meat as ‘repugnant food,’ the country has long held a notoriously laissez-faire approach in dealing with the issue of edible dogs. The Korean Dog Meat Organization demonstrates an obvious lack of interest in animal rights as well as sanitary and health concerns for humans. So it is high time for the government to stop the efforts of the Korean Dog Meat Association from legalizing dog farms and dog meat.
In September 2012, the Korean Dog Meat Association held one of the biggest protests to date—pleading for the government to officially legalize dog farms and dog meat. However, during their protest, they failed to mention the atrocities 2.5 million dogs suffer through each year—from germ-ridden cages to brutality—believing that the more the animals suffer, the more delicious the meats will taste.
Asides from the horrific acts imposed on these innocent animals, the rotten leftovers and unsanitary environment not only affect the animals’ health but those who consume these meats. These diseases that are transmitted to humans can easily spread to others within the community—wreaking havoc on a society.
Please sign the petition below to become an active voice for those animals that are voiceless. Stop the Korean Dog Meat Association from profiting from the $2 billion dog and cat meat industry.

Save Cats and Dogs in South Korea from Brutal Deaths
BY KRISTIN HARKNESS
Target: President Lee Myung-bak
Goal: Enforce legislation regarding the slaughter of cats and dogs for human consumption to protect them from horrific abuse.
Each year in South Korea, two million cats and dogs are captured by butchers and sold in open markets for human consumption. They suffer atrocities—dogs are slowly torn apart, electrocuted, strangled, or beaten to death, while cats are bludgeoned and boiled alive. Despite the fact that only a small minority of South Koreans consumes cat and dog meat, the industry thrives because of the perpetuation of lies and government indifference.
Most South Koreans consider cats and dogs as companion animals, and South Korea’s Animal Protection Law, passed in 1991, acknowledges them as “domestic pets.” Historically, South Koreans have only eaten dogs in times of severe poverty, yet even then they were still treated as companion animals. But a small number still believe the myth that cat and dog meat have medicinal properties.
Unscrupulous meat traders perpetuate the myths that dog meat increases male sexual prowess and that cats produce tonics that cure rheumatism and arthritis. Legislation was passed last year that increases punishment of those found guilty of cruelly killing or injuring an animal to a year in prison or a fine of 10 million won (about 8,800 dollars). However, this illegal industry holds great power as it bribes government officials and police, hires thugs to intimidate animal welfare advocates, and persuades newspapers to continue the perpetuation of myths about the medicinal value of cats and dogs.
It is estimated that there are nearly 6,500 establishments trading cats and dogs in South Korea. Illegal and unsanitary dog farms exist throughout rural parts of the country, where dogs are raised and sold to butchers. South Korean officials must work to enforce animal protection laws in order to save innocent cats and dogs from gruesome deaths.

PETITION LETTER:
Dear President Lee Myung-bak,
Millions of cats and dogs are suffering brutal deaths in the illicit meat trading industry, largely because of government indifference. South Korea passed stricter laws intended to protect these animals, yet it seems nothing is being done.
Only a very small minority of South Koreans consumes cat and dog meat; most consider these animals to be domestic pets. It is largely because of the power of the meat trade industry to bribe officials and persuade newspapers to perpetuate the myths about the medicinal value of cats and dogs that this industry still exists.
It is up to you to determine the fate of these unlucky animals. Please strengthen and better enforce legislation that bans the trade of cat and dog meat.

To the Sponsors of PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea:

Please withdraw your sponsorship of PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea!

Bishop Desmond Tutu said, “If you are neutral in situations of injustice, you have chosen the side of the oppressor.”

As sponsors of the Olympics, you have the power to influence the S. Korean government to end the horrific cruelty that is perpetrated against innocent dogs and cats of South Korea.

Two and a half million South Korean dogs are electrocuted, hanged, or beaten to death each year. They are killed in the cruelest ways imaginable, because many South Koreans believe the insidious myth that the more an animal suffers, the tastier the meat and that the medical properties will be enhanced. Thousands of cats are also slaughtered for soups and so-called “health” tonics. They are thrown into boiling water while still alive.

The practice of eating dogs is not widely accepted in South Korea. It gained popularity after the South Korean War. The practice continues to thrive with the aid of greedy restaurateurs, meat dealers, and butchers.

Over the last decade, many in South Korea have embraced the notion of dogs and cats as animal companions. But we must take action to persuade the South Korean government to legalize a ban on dog and cat meat and forever stop this technically illegal, corrupt, and sordid industry.

It is appalling that dogs and cats should be kept in filthy crates, forced to watch their cage mates being tortured and slaughtered. Eyewitnesses have reported dogs being literally torn apart while still alive, their tormentors saying that the more prolonged the torment of death, the better the taste. This attitude toward any living being is at best unforgivable.

The 2012 Olympics showed us how the world can unite together with a collective spirit of community that transcends economics and political strife. Every nation even the smallest, without resources had a chance to showcase their talent. They were neither sidelined nor marginalized. Volunteers came together and everyone was given an equal chance to shine. The world knows how important it is to stand up for the voiceless to show understanding and compassion to all our fellow men and living creatures. Doing the right thing earns respect and this in turn builds business. It is time for brand leaders such as you to carry this torch of change. Please respect your customers. Do not endorse a nation that endorses and promotes oppression and unspeakable cruelty. Insist this practice ends now and until it does withdraw your sponsorship.

Respectfully,
Why is this important?

In S. Korea, dog meat industry is estimated at $2 billion that results in the annual slaughter of over 2.5 million dogs, served in upwards of 20,000 restaurants nationwide. That's about 7,000 dogs slaughtered every single day. It is estimated that over 100,000 tons of dog meat is consumed annually, including 93,600 tons used to produce ‘health’ tonics called "Gae Soju" which is prepared by boiling dogs with various herbs until it become a thick liquid. Cats are also made into these tonics which is called "Goyangyee Soju".

Current Situation of S. Korea's Dog Meat Industry
Little has changed over the years regarding the dog meat industry in S. Korea. The selling and processing of dog meat is still technically illegal. The situation could be summed up with this paradox: it is illegal to produce and consume dog meat but it is not against the law. Debate continues on its legalization but an impasse remains at the moment between the S. Korean government and animal welfare groups, meaning that everything continues on now as it has done in the past.

The World Protection of the Dog and Cat Meat Trade is the official body and recognised charity/ non for profit to lend a serious intergovernmental and legislative voice to all the activists and local rescues.Such a combination is unique as it combines the Voice of the People with the serious lobbyists who share the common intention that FOOD TORTURE CULTURE has no place in our world! New message about NoToDogMeat campaigns against the Yulin China Dog Meat Festival Posted by J de Cadenet (campaign founder) It starts with you TAKE THE PLEDGE Message from your Campaign Manager At NoToDogMeat our members can be proud to know they do not stand by silent. We get up from behind our computers and actively take to the streets. Many of you have never even met yet friendships have been formed through our movement. Lots of you who came to our first world day ( May 18th) now know you have pals around the globe who share your view that deliberate Heinous Cruelty- wanton Cruelty without rhyme nor reason has NO place in our society. Language may divide us religion may divide us, oceans may divide us and time zones may divide us but we are United at NoToDogMeat, we are strong and not just for ourselves for the millions and dogs and cats on the meat death farms, the meat death trucks and the meat death camps who have waited and pleaded silently for help. It doesn't take Einstein to work out they need a voice, it just takes willing! and peaceful determination. Our voice is here and our voice is loud . We have the backing of our umbrella body the World Protection for Dogs and Cats in the Meat Trade. In ten days time we will start to take to the streets in rotation outside all the Chinese Embassies, in China Town and in every public place with banners, flyers and our voice. We will formally oppose the Dog Eating Festival in Yulin China and we will get press coverage. Help Us Close Korean Dog Farms and end the Dog and Cat Meat Trade
Posted by J de Cadenet (founder)

The photos above are my dogs - part of the Global Movement NoToDogMeat. They campaign actively world wide to end the dog and cat meat trade- and ban illegal consumption forever.

We are proud to belong to the charity The World Protection for Dogs and Cats in the Meat Trade. This not for profit lobbies at the highest intergovernmental level to give a voice to the millions of dogs and cats slaughtered daily- and more than that tortured first. I know it is true I have seen it with my own eyes.
The other photos you see over the coming days are the miserable dog " Farms in South Korea" and the dogs on the way to the live meat markets- NoToDogMeat rescues from these markets and films undercover at the farms.
I need your help- It has been nearly a year since I asked you to sign our official petition. More than that is needed- people have to take to the streets- to shame South Korea - the home of Hyuandi- Samsung and LEG- We have to make South Korea reset their moral compass and force our own governments to act with a conscience and stop this barbarism.
Please consider joining as a member and supporting NoToDogMeat. Go out on the streets with them- wear a t shirt- hand out a flyer- Be Brave- Make a Stand- In South Korea ( unlike Thailand or other countries) there are so few survivors. It is the country which epitomises FOOD TORTURE CULTURE.
The can not be our LEGACY. ACT NOW No Action is Ever too Small- and these dogs and cats need all the true friends they can get.

World Protection for Dogs and Cats in the Meat Trade

South Korean Food Torture Culture - dogs & cats boiled alive for ancient tonics and elixirs

tens of thousands of cats and dogs are cooked alive, for ancient tonics and medicines. There is no law in sKorea for dogs and cats. address the issue of food torture culture. The British have officially petitioned Hugo Swire and Foreign Office to address this issue of steam cooking cats alive, cooking dogs alive. To do more this time. Not just say, we dont like it. the UN has no say in the animals world. So?? that means it should just continue? no! this needs to be addressed by the UN. It is high time the UN took better charge of the animal kingdom. It is clear that South Koreans member states have failed in their agreements. Teaching kids to torture is unacceptable. UN good governance and civil society and culture of peace, is what you say you want? Banki Moon advocates for all of the above, and this is his country - children are being encouraged to torture and boil dogs alive, Photographing the events on their samsung phones and uploading to the world. This must be eardicated and not passed on to his #UN Millenium Youth. Samsung are the world leaders in technology and phone sales. With a special award by the Queen, yet the big bosses probably feast on tortured dog soup. If such a country is so ahead with its technology and education, why are the people still demanding tortured meat. Animals are sentient beings. No animal should be boiled alive, for ancient tonics and remedies, in any country.
